Position Summary

The Talent Coordinator plays a key role in supporting Forgen's Human Resources operations by managing the administrative and logistical aspects of the employee lifecycle. This position is responsible for handling pre-employment processing, onboarding coordination, HR data entry, and benefits support while ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations. The Talent Coordinator works closely with project leadership and the HR team to ensure a smooth and compliant hiring experience that aligns with Forgen's core values and business needs.

Key Responsibilities



  • Coordinate pre-employment processes including background checks, drug testing, and physicals.
  • Manage all onboarding documentation and ensure accurate, timely completion of new hire tasks.
  • Maintain up-to-date employee records and HR databases, including daily updates to tracking spreadsheets.
  • Prepare and distribute weekly workforce (manning) reports for leadership.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding benefits, HR policies, and onboarding in a timely and professional manner.
  • Ensure I-9 documentation and storage comply with federal requirements and assist with audit readiness.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers and field teams to support smooth, compliant hiring and onboarding processes.
  • Support posting compliance by maintaining required federal, state, and local notices.
  • Assist with benefits administration and open enrollment as needed.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and exercise discretion and sound judgment in all HR-related matters.


Required Experience & Qualifications



  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 1 year in an HR support or coordinator role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel, Outlook, Word).
  • Experience using an HRIS (e.g., ADP Workforce Now).
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and a customer service mindset.
  • Valid driver's license; ability to travel occasionally for company business.


Preferred Qualifications



  • Experience supporting HR or onboarding in a construction or field-based environment.
  • Bilingual in Spanish a plus.

Physical Demands & Work Environment

This office-based role requires frequent computer use and effective communication, with occasional travel to project sites as needed. Site visits may involve extended periods of standing or walking and required PPE, with potential exposure to heavy equipment, chemicals, dust, fumes, uneven terrain, and extreme weather.
