JOB DESCRIPTION

Position: Business Analyst

Position Summary:

BuddoBot is looking for a Business Analyst to support the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) - Enterprise Architecture (EA) division.

HUD's EA Support services are required to create integrated, unified, and comprehensive enterprise architecture programs and associated management processes (e.g., office, etc.). In maturing the EA Support Services, HUD's Architect, Invest, and Implement approach will ensure mission performance within the HUD business areas, including the effective and efficient alignment of HUD's information technology (IT) resources with its strategic business objectives.

The EA Support Services support will integrate elements of strategy, planning, and engineering to provide the HUD OCIO with a holistic view of the HUD IT portfolio through various lenses (e.g., acquisition, project management, technology, and cybersecurity).

The Business Analyst will conduct process modernization projects using process improvement, reengineering methodologies, and internet-related methodologies and principles. The ideal candidate will be the key coordinator between customers and multiple project teams to ensure enterprise-wide integration of reengineering efforts and application of best practices, including business modernization practices experience.

Clearance Eligibility: Ability to obtain a Public Trust Level 5

Salary: The salary offered will depend on education, certifications, length and relevance of work history, and professional experience.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Apply process improvement, reengineering, and Internet-related methodologies and principles to conduct modernization projects for EA.
  • Accountable for the transition of existing organizations or project teams in accomplishing the organization's goals or project activities and objectives through improved Internet use and other automated processes.
  • Support activity and data modeling, development of modern business methods, identification of best practices, and creation and assessment of performance measurements for EA.
  • Provide group facilitation, interviewing, training, and additional forms of knowledge transfer for EA.
  • Serve as key coordinator between customers and multiple project teams to ensure enterprise-wide integration of reengineering efforts.
  • Transitioning of existing organizations or project teams in accomplishing the organization's goals or project activities and objectives through improved use of the internet and other automated processes
  • Expertise in User Lifecycle Management, Access Certifications, Access Requests, Workflow, and Delegated Administration.

Education and Certification Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or similar disciplines with 5 years of relevant experience or master's degree (same disciplines) with four (4) years of relevant experience.

Background and Experience:

  • Technical proficiency and strong communication skills are required to translate business requirements into technical specifications within the SailPoint platform.
  • Articulate and communicate business risks and technical concepts related to Enterprise Identity Governance and Administration to partners and customers.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • General office environment. Work is generally sedentary but may require movement about the office for up to 10% of the time. The working environment is generally favorable. Lighting and temperature are adequate, and no hazardous or unpleasant conditions are caused by noise, dust, etc. Work is generally performed in an office environment, with standard equipment available.
  • Contractor site with 0-10% travel possible.
  • Possible off-hours work to support releases and outages.
  • Occasional movement of small articles up to 10 lbs.
  • Must be able to remain stationary 50% of the time.
  • Continually operate a computer and other office productivity machinery.
  • Occasionally required to move in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments, including tight and confined spaces.
  • Continually required to communicate information and ideas so others will understand.
  • Continually utilize visual acuity to operate equipment, read technical information, and/or use a keyboard.
