Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Commercial Service Technician with strong fire systems experience to join our team as we continue to expand our footprint in Maryland. Responsibilities: * Receive and manage service call schedules a week in advance, typically handling an average of 4 tickets per day. * Perform troubleshooting and problem-solving for a variety of security equipment, including Alarm.com, DMP, DSC (832, 1832, Alexor Panel, Impassa, Neo, Qolsys Panel), Bosch Keypad (B930), Honeywell, Concord, Vista, and others. * Service and maintain motion sensors, door locks, glass break detectors, smoke detectors, and carbon monoxide detectors. * Utilize a company vehicle for service calls. * Conduct routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on fire alarm systems, including Silent Knight (6808, 6820) and Potter AFC (1000, 100, IPA 60, IPA 100, IPA 4000V). * Collaborate with other technicians and departments to ensure comprehensive security and fire safety measures. * Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance, and repairs. * Stay updated on industry standards and regulations related to security and fire systems. Additional Skills & Qualifications: * Proven experience servicing fire systems (top skill). * Experience with low voltage cable installation. * Ability to work in new construction and occupied commercial buildings. * Efficient management of work schedules. * Strong customer support skills.
