Electrician Technician Responsibilities: Troubleshoot engine controls and wiring Read and interpret blueprints and point to point drawings Wire engine alternators, starters, jacket water heaters, and engine safeties and controls Fabricate engine harnesses Install Class 1 Div 2 wire and conduit Install and wire engine enclosure lighting panels Solder wire connections and electrical components Other duties as required Electrician Technician Position Requirements: Must own proper tools to perform necessary repairs Associate's degree or certificate from technical school preferred 5 years' experience working with troubleshooting engine controls and wiring Working knowledge of AC/DC circuits and general mechanical skills Ability to operate heavy equipment including overhead cranes and forklifts Knowledge and experience with generators and switchgear Ability to perform Load Bank testing, Low, Medium, and High Voltage Generate detailed service reports Previous mechanic work or military experience Join us EVERY FRIDAY from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm for Technician Open Interviews at our Northwest Houston/HWY 290 location.
