THE OPPORTUNITY
Reporting to the Unit Manager, Maintenance & Reliability, the Maintenance Supervisor will:
- Manages all aspects of daily maintenance activities at LaSalle, including direct supervision of all tasks performed by the maintenance team and contractors. Delivers feedback to direct reports when appropriate and understands the collective bargaining agreement.
- Drives the maintenance process by ensuring that all work, including EHSS, regulatory, quality, and reliability work is executed in the most cost effective and safe manner.
- Ensures appropriate resources, permits, materials, and equipment are available when maintenance department responds to reactive/break-in jobs.
- Provides a high level of technical expertise and support in the troubleshooting and maintenance of process or equipment problems as well as identifying and driving possible improvement projects, participating or leading root cause analysis teams, and providing direction and support of the PM and PdM programs.
- Tracks and drives improvements on multiple KPIs, PM program and schedule compliance, backlog, capital projects, and maintenance policies and procedures.
THE QUALIFICATIONS
The right candidate will be a self-motivated individual who is organized, shows strong attention to detail, and is flexible in moving work crews to needed areas. Your credentials ideally include:
- Two-year technical degree or a strong technical and mechanical background with 3-5 years of chemical plant experience.
- Basic mechanical, electrical, and computer skills are required.
- Previous experience with Maximo or other CMMS system is preferred.
- Previous supervisory experience in maintenance, operations, or technical support areas desired.
- Requires a self-motivated individual with good organization, communication, and mechanical skills.
