*Description*
Our client is a physician-led organization that provides a range of clinical and operational services to health care systems. They provide physician staffing for Emergency Room physicians and Hospitalist physicians. They also do some other services like telehealth, Workforce optimization, and revenue cycle management services. They see 8M patients a year and have 60M patient records. Education Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, MIS or related field Upcoming Projects: 1. Changing file based feed to clinical based feed. It's ongoing bec they have 500 facilities. 300 Emergency Management facilities, 120 clinical data feeds. 2. HM they have 0 clinical feeds. Some facilities that send clinical data but need to put in clinical feed. They need help mapping HM data so that they can produce some sort of data visualizations. Responsibilities: *Adheres to specifications document(s) to positively impact data capture *Collaborates with the business on the current measures required by regulatory bodies to ensure appropriate data capture *Engages with internal systems for alignment on data requirements *Collaborates with facility, vendor, and internal departments on setting up connectivity (VPN and Ports) *Identifies interface scope through collaboration with facility contacts, vendor contacts, and clinical analysts to identify interface scope *Builds appropriate interfaces with vendor(s) and facility *Performs applicable unit testing scenarios specific to different service lines *Performs unit testing of all interfaces prior to handoff for integrated testing with business partners *Identifies, documents and resolves issues assigned by management or team leads *Provides end user support during and post implementation *Participates in workflow design and understands data impacts to users *Complies with process flow models according to business needs *Ensures maintenance of interface translations and lookup tables for proper normalization *Performs data conversions according to FHIR specifications documentation *Maintains knowledge of changes to HL7 structure using HL7 standards *Adheres to and suggests modifications to the HL7 specification *Delivers work within established timeframes *Identifies and takes action on opportunities for process improvement *Skills* HL7, Mirth Connect, Integration, SQL, Epic, Cerner, FHIR, API, JavaScript *Top Skills Details* Mirth, JavaScript, SQL *Additional Skills & Qualifications* *Interpersonal skills oCommunicate effectively with non-technical personnel oCommunicate effectively with team members oCommunicate effectively with management inside organization and with vendor management *Organizational skills oAbility to set and adhere to realistic deadlines oAbility to understand and assess business processes and make recommendations for efficiency oMust be able to work effectively in stressful situations oAbility to manage time and workload effectively oDemonstrate ability to troubleshoot complex data issues oConduct presentations to colleagues and upper management oDirect resources to successful completion of issue or project *Experience Level* Expert Level *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $85.00 - $85.00/hr.
