As the NATIONAL ACCOUNT MANAGER for Home Depot, you will be responsible for managing sales and maximizing profits, through managing the relationship with one of our largest customers.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage the sales strategy for Home Depot and other assigned national retailers and distribution channel(s); ensure strategy meets or exceeds profitable growth expectations.
  • Establish and manage strong business relationships with key decision-makers of assigned accounts; maintain proactive communication with the account's management.
  • Prepare national strategic plans, evaluate sales performance, and take appropriate corrective action as necessary to maintain profitability expectations.
  • Maintain a current knowledge and understanding of the consumer market; dedicate time to understand the consumer within the national retailers/channels target audience; provide market feedback to ensure product development, merchandising, and pricing meets consumer/market needs.
  • Actively participate in Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) meetings; provide input and discussion regarding future product demand, production scheduling, and finished goods inventory relative to channel needs.

Qualification Requirements

  • Business Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related Field of Study
  • Five (5) years of progressive sales / account management experience within the consumer products industry.
  • Knowledge of channel / distributor sales techniques and best practices.
  • Ability to travel domestically 25% of the time

The work location for this position is flexible and eligible for Work from Home arrangements. Lamplight Farms is headquartered in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin, northwest of Milwaukee.

Physical Requirements

Normal Office Environment with domestic travel required.
