Regional EHS Manager I

RESPONSIBILITY LEVEL: Partners with the Regional leadership team in implementing the strategic EHS initiatives that build and sustain the region's culture of EHS excellence. Supports the Region's EHS function, validates adherence to the requirements, goals, and directs improvement planning efforts. Serves as a contributor or leader of project teams to address specific program changes or issues that apply across the Central Region. Provides technical support on EHS matters to region. Provides direction to site safety professionals (where present). PRINCIPAL DUTIES:
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in occupational or environmental safety or related equivalent with a minimum of 8 - 10 years' work experience in industrial, manufacturing and/or construction safety in a multiple facility environment. Excellent verbal and written communicator with business acumen, strong analytical skills and the ability to influence and self-start. Ability to travel 40-50%. #LI-Remote #WeAreJCI |
