Your role in our success:

The VP, Finance is responsible for overseeing and managing a significant portion of the company's financial operations, including budgeting, financial reporting, analysis, risk management and compliance acting as a key advisor to senior management by providing strategic financial insights and ensuring the company's financial health while adhering to industry regulations.

What you'll be working on:



  • Serve as a financial advisor to the executive team to help develop and implement financial strategies supporting the Company's strategic growth plan.
  • Partner with the Company's business units and support functions to oversee the preparation and consolidation of the Company's budget and forecasting processes; ensuring alignment to strategic goals and objectives.
  • Lead and present timely and accurate analyses, summaries, and reports of financial and operating performance.
  • Prepare and review project financial models supporting organic capital projects and acquisition decisions, including coordinating the necessary financial diligence to support capital spending and acquisitions.
  • Partner with senior leaders to ensure the Company achieves it operating and financial targets and identifies trends needing decisions/actions.
  • Support management by providing reporting and analysis that facilitates informed decisions based on market trends, company data, regulatory changes and operational issues.
  • Lead and mentor the team, fostering a culture of performance, continuous improvement and collaboration with the business units and support functions.
  • Identify and assess potential financial risks related to market trends and fluctuations, regulatory changes, and operational issues.
  • Provide strategic financial input and leadership on decision-making issues affecting the organization (e.g., evaluation of an acquisition).
  • Represent the organization externally to the financial community, government agencies and the public.
  • Identify areas to improve and enhance the Company's overall financial planning and reporting processes including efficiencies in the delivery, and increased understanding, of financial data across the enterprise.
  • Additional duties as assigned.




    Who you are:



    • Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, accounting or equivalent
    • Five years proven work experience in a VP of Finance or similar role
    • CPA is preferred but not required


    Key Skills & Competencies:



    • The ideal candidate must possess good verbal and written communication skills and must be able to express himself/herself clearly and decisively.
    • The ideal candidate will possess the necessary skills to develop and support a culture of learning, development and engagement.
    • In-depth knowledge in financial analysis, financial reporting, accounting, financial planning and forecasting, budgeting, risk management, cash flow management, investment strategy and financial modeling and valuation, and fiscal management principles.
    • Leadership and management skills that include strategic thinking, negotiation and financial acumen.
    • Ability to work closely with other top executives. Skilled in strategic planning and problem solving.
