- Develop strategies and roadmaps for various initiatives.
- Responsible for leading and driving process improvements both short term and long term.
- Partner and build strong relationships with internal partners.
- Assess and improve flows of communication from working teams up to leadership, and outward to cross-functional partners.
- Collaborate with partners/vendors to stay informed of new features and functionality that may benefit the business.
- Help grow and champion systems and process adoption and standards that ensure.
- Work directly with senior management on projects, risks, direction, and budgets.
- Act as subject matter expert for both the functional and tactical use systems.
- Recommend, support, and troubleshoot new capabilities and enhancements, as well as business process changes.
- Collaborate closely with business and technology teams to deliver effective, targeted solutions as they relate business initiatives and systems
- Ability to recommend, influence and implement organizational changes and continuous innovation.
- Possess comprehensive understanding of the internal and cross functional tasks related to F&B.
- Partner with Food & Beverage Manager, IT and PMO teams to define and document user stories and business requirements.
- Regularly engage with Food & Beverage Manager and PMO team on project status, top issues, critical risks, and key decisions.
- Develop plans as new processes and tools are adopted, including identifying all project steps from selection to training.
- Identify, plan, and manage applicable systems training gaps. Develop train the trainer programs.
- Cleary document and communicate process changes or new business processes to all stakeholders.
- Document and convey development requirements via detailed process and design flow documents.
- Support new systems/process via documentation while partnering with project teams.
- Works closely users to detect, diagnose and identify issues, gaps and impacts for key users functionality & improvement.
ESSENTIALS FOR LIFE IN PARADISE
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 7+ years working for a multi-unit restaurant focusing on development of policy and strategy for future state.
- Generally, 5-7+ years process improvement experience, and/or business process development, or related experience in Food and Beverage and/or Hospitality.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite (Excel & PP), workforce management tools, inventory management platforms, purchasing software, and hospitality POS systems .
- Ability to comprehend and document training materials, operating procedures, and standards manuals
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated negotiation and facilitation skills.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills. Must be able to communicate effectively with various audiences who have different skill levels of technical competence.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Understanding of change management practices.
- Strong time management skills both as an independent worker and within a team.
- Ability to quickly learn business workflow applications.
- Strong business acumen and the foresight to anticipate complex, cross functional problems
- Clear and effective written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to identify opportunities for improving business processes and use technology to eliminate problems that affect productivity and/or agility.
Multiple factors will vary the applicable rate of pay for this role, including an individual's experience, knowledge, and skillset, as well as work location and available budget.
