Responsible for: The aluminum welder welds together aluminum components as specified by blueprints, work orders, and/or oral instructions. Duties include the use and maintenance of related shop equipment for aluminum welding. Essential Functions:
Preferred Qualifications/Experience: A minimum of 1 year certified aluminum welder experience. Skills/Competencies: Basic knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in the construction or repair of aluminum fabrications or other structures. Skilled in all operational aspects of aluminum welding. Ability to stand, sit, walk, or drive for extended periods of time. Perform physical activities that frequently require bending at the waist, squatting, climbing, stooping, kneeling and reaching above the head.
