Job Summary: The FPBO Analyst supports the FPBO Administration, Managers, Client Service Managers, Supervisors, Team Leads, UHC Decision Support, and Finance Departments. Responsible for identifying, developing, and producing custom reports generated out of the LLEAP clarity and workbench report system. On a recurring basis, produces daily, monthly, and annual financial reports as needed by the FPBO and other associated LLUHC entities. Provides support to the auto-dialer system for Front Office Support Services. Manages and supports payer web access. Responsible for database creation, setup, and maintenance. Embedded builder for Resolute Professional Billing (PB) system. Understands PB charge and billing requirements. Supports PB build, upgrades, workflows and optimization of functionality. Performs other duties as needed.
Education and Experience: Requires Bachelor Degree and two years of professional computer, business office, or professional billing experience; or Associate Degree and four years of professional computer or business office experience; or six years minimum of professional computer or business office experience in lieu of college degree. Healthcare and professional billing experience preferred.
Knowledge and Skills: Requires knowledge of MS-Office Suite, Windows and Epic Resolute applications: Works independently with no direct supervision. Able to analyze and set priorities to ensure deadline is always met. Essential Technical/Motor Skills: Able to keyboard 40 wpm. Able to read; write legibly; speak in English with professional quality; use computer, printer, and software programs necessary to the position (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Operate/troubleshoot basic office equipment required for the position; Essential Interpersonal Skills: Able to relate and communicate positively, effectively, and professionally with others; work calmly and respond courteously when under pressure; collaborate and accept direction. Essential Mental Abilities: Able to communicate effectively in English in person, in writing, and on the telephone; think critically; manage multiple assignments effectively; organize and prioritize workload; work well under pressure; problem solve; recall information with accuracy; pay close attention to detail; work independently with minimal supervision. Essential Sensory Abilities: Able to distinguish colors as necessary; hear sufficiently for general conversation in person and on the telephone, and identify and distinguish various sounds associated with the workplace; see adequately to read computer screens, and written documents necessary to the position.
Licensures and Certifications: EPIC clarity certification or EPIC Resolute Professional Billing proficiency preferred
