Description

Program Supervisor

People Incorporated is seeking a Program Supervisor for our Metro Counties targeted case management team. This supervisory position responsible for the supervision, selection, and training of assigned staff. Our case managers work with clients who are diagnosed with chronic mental illness, connecting them with resources to live as independently as possible. We help them develop self-awareness to make positive plans for the future through frequent meetings in the community.

Hours: Monday - Friday, flexible business hours

Location: Metro Counties, Minnesota. Hybrid - in office and remote opportunities available

Range: $55,016 - $61,888/ Salary depending on qualifications

Hiring Bonus: $1,000 to external candidates

Main Job Duties:

  • Must have physical presence in the Twin Cities, Minnesota area.
  • Supervise the work of assigned program staff to ensure adherence to quality standards and proper procedures, providing coaching when errors or problems are discovered and conducting regular 1:1 supervision with all assigned employees.
  • Attract, hire, orient and retain high-quality staff.
  • Provide training, assess strengths and development needs, and provide timely and specific feedback on job duties, company policies and best practices.
  • Partner with staff on identifying and developing professional goals that encourage and support professional growth within the organization.
  • Coordinate staff meetings and program scheduling, ensuring that proper coverage occurs. May co-facilitate meetings with others as needed.
  • Provide direct client services in an integrative and collaborative manner.
  • With the client and/or legal representative, collaboratively assist/oversee the implementation of a person-centered development/goal plan.
  • Document all interventions, interactions and relevant information on the treatment plan consistent with professional and organizational standards.
Requirements

Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.   • Passing all background and requirements for facility and position; and
  • The ability to pass the screening required by Federal Human Services Office of Inspector General to assure that person has not been excluded from working in the Health Care Programs which receive federal funding.
  • Must have a valid and current driver's license and auto insurance.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in the behavioral sciences or related field (i.e. social work, psychology, or nursing from an accredited college or university)
  • One year (2,000 hours) of full-time experience with adults who have a serious persistent mental illness (SPM)

OR

  • Master's degree in behavioral science or related field

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Completion of the People Incorporated's Link to Leadership Program.
  • Master's degree in a related field.
  • Two years prior supervisory experience in the delivery of behavioral health services.
  • Candidates who hold an active and unrestricted license in the State of Minnesota (LAMFT, LGSW, LADC, LSW or LPC).
