Work Schedule: 100% FTE, day shift. Monday - Friday 8:30AM - 5:00PM, no weekends or holidays. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. We are seeking a Specimen Control and Receiving Tech Lead in Cytology, Support Services to: Receive specimens and research kits into the laboratory, check for correct labeling, enter tests into Laboratory Information System, process specimens, and load them onto instruments or direct to appropriate work station, technologist, or storage area. Be responsible for daily checklist duties which may include basic instrument maintenance and clerical duties. Participate in the training of laboratory staff.
