Job Summary:
The data control coordinators are responsible for the accurate receipt, organization, and logging of samples for laboratory analysis. They work closely with the laboratory and customer service to ensure samples are processed correctly and engage in multiple quality control procedures with high attention to detail.

Responsibilities:
* Receive, open, and sort a high volume of daily shipments, comparing contents to data sheets, and handling them with a quality-minded focus.
* Enter high volumes of customer and account data by inputting text-based and numerical information from source documents within time limits and error rate metrics.
* Compile, verify accuracy, and sort information according to priorities to prepare source data for computer entry.
* Review data for deficiencies or errors, correct any incompatibilities if possible, and check output.
* Communicate with laboratory staff to clarify data entries or resolve inconsistencies.
* Multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting that is expected to scale year over year.
* Handle hundreds of unique, sensitive documents that are critical to the health and well-being of customers and their equipment. Support cross-functional teams.

Basic Qualifications:
* High School Diploma or Equivalent degree
* 2+ years of relevant work experience with proven data entry experience.

Key Compentencies:
* Passion for working in a fast-paced business environment, comfortable with continuous change, and a willingness to roll up your sleeves and perform duties outside those described.
* Multi-tasker: skilled at planning, prioritizing and executing simultaneous projects and activities, working well under pressure and adapting quickly to change.
* Comfortable with hands-on repetitive tasks that require both urgency and precision along with computer-based data entry and proofing.
* Ability to adapt and problem-solve when things don't go according to plan.

Preferences:
* High computer literacy.
* Proficiency in English.
* Typing speed of >65 wpm preferred.

Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements:
This position will be based at our site in Dripping Spring, TX no travel.
