Are you a motivated and results-driven professional with a passion for helping people achieve homeownership? Rize Credit Union is looking for a Mortgage Loan Officer to join our team! If you have experience in real estate lending and love building relationships, we want to hear from you.

As a Mortgage Loan Officer, you'll play a key role in growing our home loan portfolio by working directly with members and referral partners. You'll spend 55%-75% of your time in the field, developing business opportunities, networking with real estate professionals, and delivering outstanding service.
Compensation:


  • Base Salary: $36,000 annually
  • Monthly Commissions: Potential total annual compensation between $72,000- $108,000 annually



What You'll Do:


  • Generate New Business - Build relationships with real estate agents, builders, and other referral sources. Attend networking events and open houses to promote Rize's mortgage services.
  • Originate Mortgage Loans - Assist members in securing first mortgage loans, explaining loan options, and guiding them through the application process.
  • Manage Client Relationships - Oversee the loan process from application to closing, ensuring timely communication and exceptional service.
  • Ensure Compliance - Stay updated on state and federal regulations, ensuring all loan processes align with compliance standards.
  • Collaborate for Success - Work closely with management and team members to drive loan production and enhance our mortgage lending strategies.



What We're Looking For:


  • Experience - At least 2 years in real estate lending with a proven record of loan origination and relationship building.
  • Knowledge - Experience with FHA, VA, Fannie Mae, and affordable housing products is a plus.
  • Education/Certification - High school diploma or GED. Must maintain registration with the National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS).
  • Skills - Strong communication, sales, and relationship management skills. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus!
  • Tech-Savvy - Proficiency in Microsoft 365, loan origination software, and Fannie Mae Desktop Underwriter (DU).
