Overview

Full-time Day Shift: 8am to 4:30 p.m.

Responsibilities

The Patient Account Registrar is responsible for accurately collecting and inputting patient information, verifying insurance details, and ensuring the patient account registration process is conducted efficiently and effectively. This role is crucial in maintaining seamless patient interactions and ensuring satisfaction while facilitating the financial operations of the healthcare facility.

Qualifications

Education and Work Experience

    Previous hospital experience as an admissions representative preferred.
  1. Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
  2. Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  3. Ability to multi-task, prioritize needs to meet required timelines.
  4. Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  5. Customer Services experience required.
  6. High School Graduate or GED Equivalent Required (effective 4/1/14 for all new hires)
