  • Estimated annual base pay: $90,400.00 (minimum) - $113,000.00 (midpoint) - $135,600.00 (maximum)

Are you ready to make your mark? If you're a Senior Operations Engineer, we have an exciting opportunity for you. The Senior Operations Engineer (level 3) reports to Technical Leadership and whose focus is performing design and support of moderate to high complexity manufacturing systems and equipment, mentoring to other Engineers and supporting process improvements. This position works under a moderate to low level of supervision. Independent technical decisions on work are covered by precedents; this position seeks direction/guidance on novel or controversial problems. In addition, this position may participate in project-specific relationship building with Customers, Suppliers, individuals or organizations.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Provides technical expertise and lead teams to solve complex challenges
  • Develop innovative new approaches to problems encountered
  • Initiates, justifies, and implement capital projects involving new technologies
  • Uses data-driven approaches to improve processes
  • Collaborate with design teams to implement Design for Manufacturability and Assembly (DFMA) principals into new and current products
  • Collaborate with vendors to identify, evaluate, and implement new technologies
  • Implement and promotes process improvements within assigned areas and share learnings across the company
  • Be the technical expert on shop floor processes and support escalated issues. Support and mentor machine operators and lower-level technical staff
  • Promote a focus on process stability, closed door manufacturing, and automation

What We Are Looking For

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related technical field
  • 4+ years of Engineering Experience or a combination of experience and advanced degree
  • Solid Six Sigma knowledge; Advanced understanding of Lean Manufacturing concepts
  • Ability to apply advanced knowledge of capabilities studies, Gage R&R and machine capabilities
  • Solid understanding of machinery related to electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, etc to specify equipment and procure capital
  • Solid understanding of cell and plant layout drawings, including HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing and other Utility needs/layouts
