Overview

LMI is seeking a highly skilled Stock Control Test Analyst with a strong emphasis on automated testing to join our team. The Stock Control Test Analyst will be responsible for the meticulous analysis, documentation, and development of stock control suite of systems (D035) capabilities. This includes the creation, documentation, and execution of automated functional software test plans. The ideal candidate will possess an advanced understanding of stock control processes and software systems, and the ability to analyze and resolve operational software deficiencies. A thorough knowledge of stock control system interfaces is essential to identify and present improvement options effectively to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities may include:

    Manage Automated Software Testing: Oversee automated software testing tasks to support schedule requirements for software deliveries.
  • Documentation and Monitoring: Utilize JIRA for documenting and monitoring development and testing statuses.
  • Research and Analysis: Research current and emerging stock control policy issues, providing comprehensive analyses to senior functional stakeholders.
  • Brief Leadership: Brief leadership on the status of ongoing and upcoming software deliveries.
  • Working Group Support: Provide ILS-S functional capability requirements analysis, software testing, and system functionality expertise to support government working groups.
  • Training Provision: Provide functional capability requirements and software testing training to ILS-S program Military staff members as required.
  • Detailed Analyses: Perform thorough analyses of interfacing data system requirements, assessing how changes will impact stock control software development and testing processes.
  • Operational Problem Resolution: Provide support to Operations/Help Desk personnel with solutions or work-around suggestions to resolve field operational issues.


Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of twenty (20) years of Air Force Supply Chain Analytics experience.
  • Extensive experience in functional capability requirements documentation.
  • Expert knowledge in Air Force Retail Supply System processes.
  • Expert knowledge in Air Force Supply doctrine.
  • Strong familiarity with MS Office Tools, JIRA, and Confluence.
  • Basic Structured Query Language (SQL) skills.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • Bachelor's degree (Supply Chain Management or Logistics preferred)
  • Prior military or DoD civilian/contractor experience
  • Candidate location Montgomery, AL preferred.
  • Eligible for DoD security clearance.

Targeted Salary Range: $81,000-$120,000
