Job Summary
The Rebates Team Lead is responsible for managing the payment requirements of various contractual agreements with our customers. Position is accountable for accurate and on time payments of rebates, administrative fees and other fees to customers, consistent with the term and conditions of our agreements, as well as providing timely information and support to meet statutory, compliance and production requirements. They will maintain accurate records, communicate with internal and external customers, and make data available to interested parties. They will also provide support, as needed, to other functions such as Government Pricing, pre- and/or post-deal analysis, accruals, and gross-to-net calculations.
The Rebates Team Leader will assist in the development, management, and maintenance of all business tools for the department. They will provide ongoing support, training, and development of team members by reviewing their work for accuracy and consistency, while practicing a proactive management system and providing constructive feedback.
Salary Range: $80,000 - $90,000 per year
Position is eligible to participate in a bonus plan with a target of 6% of the base salary. Final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to experience level, education, knowledge, skills, and abilities. Responsibilities
- Assist in leading staff to assure accountability and stewardship of resources in compliance with departmental goals and objectives.
- Assist in formulating key performance indicators (KPI).
- Accurately process rebates within the timelines stated in the Agreements. Perform validation checks of data submitted from customers and contribute to the continual improvement of reimbursement methodology.
- Identify and communicate issues, which may impact the contracting process or the overall contracting environment and evaluate impact to current strategy and policy
- Assist in developing and managing key customer relationships and align on common business objectives
- Assist in developing custom customer data reports or ad hoc reports.
- Provide rebate information to Finance for accruals and projections.
- Project work and analysis required on an ad hoc basis. Assigned project work would generally consist of medium to low-risk projects whose impact is limited to Commercial Operations requests
- Develop and maintain strong, collaborative, results oriented working relationships with internal and external partners through excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Reviews, approves, and implement new rebate programs and amendments within Model N.
- Interacts with IT to create, design, redesign and improve standard management sales reports. Manages the IT ticket and project request database for the team.
- Acts as SME (subject matter expert) for the Model N system. Trains, problem solves, and provides department expertise on Model N system.
- Assist in the development of processes for the Biosimilar product line. Set up and process biosimilar rebates within the timelines stated in the Agreements. Perform validation checks of data submitted from customers.

Requirements
- BS degree and or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years of related experience preferred in pharmaceuticals. Minimum of 1 year of project lead/supervisor/management experience
- Must have good analytical and communication skills.
- Must understand corporate compliance and government regulations The ability to interpret contractual language and rebate structures.
- An understanding of the integration and interactions between chargeback, commercial contracting, government contracting, rebate and government pricing processes is preferred.
- Model N or Revitas software experience desired.
- Intermediate to advance Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel skills required.
- Attention to detail required.
- The ability to work in a complex and changing environment with minimal supervision, make independent decisions and work within a team environment.
- Strong analytical, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills required
- Ability to initiate complex analysis and manage details, as well as strategic perspective
- Demonstrate ability to build cross functional relationships and influence outcomes
