Accounting Administrative Clerk

We also develop products and processes related to Cryogenic Fluid and Thermal Management Systems, Densified Propellant Management Systems, and Prototype Extreme Pressure and Temperature Systems. Our customers include the Department of Defense (DoD), the U.S. Air Force, U.S. Navy, U.S. Army, Missile Defense Agency (MDA), and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA).

FUNCTION OF POSITION

Performs a scope of work involving accounts payable functions, as well as processing of weekly payroll.

1. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
   1. Open, review, and distribute mail
   2. Obtain an understanding of accounts payable functions and general accounting practices in order to perform such duties
   3. Answer phone, file, and other administrative duties
   4. Provide support for special tasks involving detailed analyses and develop ideas for upgrading and maintaining data and software
   5. Audit employee expense reports for accuracy
   6. Assists in creating account distribution forms for Accounts Payable
   7. Helps prepare check package for payments to vendors
   8. Maintains filing and organizing vendor folders
   9. Obtain an understanding of the payroll process
   10. Processes payroll and transmits final payroll information to Paycor
   11. Processes approved personnel actions regarding earnings, deductions, hiring and terminations through payroll system.
   12. Troubleshoot payroll questions from employees and managers

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

1. At least two (2) years of relevant experience along with at least an Associates Degree in Accounting, or related fields, are required.
