POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the supervision of the Director of Enterprise Data, this individual will collaborate with business stakeholders to define reporting and business intelligence needs. This individual will develop and maintain the data environment (data pipelines, data model) necessary to create the desired reports and dashboards in coordination with the broader reporting and data engineering teams.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES:

Reporting & Automation:

  • Engage with business representatives to define key performance indicators and reporting metrics. Build datasets and reports that represent the source of truth for our key metrics.
  • Develop automated reporting solutions and dashboards that deliver actionable insights to inform business operations.
  • Develop interactive dashboards that empower users to extract and analyze data independently.
  • Ensure that reports and dashboards are consistent, accurate, and aligned with the business's strategic goals.
  • Develop self-service reporting capabilities that empower business users to access key metrics without relying on manual data extraction or custom reporting requests.

Data Modeling & Pipeline Development:

  • Own reporting tools, pipelines and dashboards to ensure consistent availability and accuracy of mission-critical data. Our services enable patient care.
  • Maintain the performance, reliability, and scalability of these pipelines to meet evolving business requirements.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of Clearway's data architecture and strategy.
  • Maintain and improve robust monitoring and alerting mechanisms for data pipelines and systems.

Data Quality & Governance:

  • Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data used in reporting and analysis, proactively identifying and resolving any data quality issues.
  • Implement data validation rules and ensure the integrity of the data feeding into automated reporting and dashboards.
  • Adhere to data governance best practices to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA) and maintain high standards of data privacy and security.

Knowledge Sharing & Troubleshooting Support:

  • Document the design, architecture, and processes involved in automated reporting and data pipeline workflows to ensure transparency and ease of future modifications or troubleshooting.
  • Contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives, ensuring best practices for reporting, automation, and data pipeline development are shared across the team. Docusign Envelope ID: 64D60B93-0A60-46BE-AAD4-3A4599149A42
  • Provide troubleshooting and support for reporting-related issues, including performance optimization, data accuracy problems, or errors in automated workflows.
  • Respond to and resolve escalated reporting issues and maintain high standards for report reliability.

EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree in business Analytics, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics or related analytical field required. Bachelor's degree in a different field with equivalent work experience may be considered.

EXPERIENCE:

  • 7+ years' experience building dashboards and reporting. Expert-level competence in both QlikCloud and Tableau is required.
  • 5+ years' experience designing and implementing scalable data pipelines and infrastructure. Proficiency in SQL-based data manipulation and transformation.
  • Hands-on experience with data warehousing solutions like Snowflake (preferred) or Redshift.
  • Experience in healthcare reporting is required; pharmacy experience especially valued.
  • Python programming proficiency is preferred

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

  • Proactive problem solving of complex technical challenges. Ability to understand, tackle and solve problems from both technical and business perspectives.
  • Excellent collaboration with cross-functional teams, aligning technical solutions with business objectives and delivering measurable improvements to data workflows and decision-making processes. Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
  • Demonstrated design thinking in developing intuitive and informative static reports and interactive dashboards.
  • Understanding of data governance principles, including data lineage, access policies, and quality frameworks.
  • Prior experience in fast-paced, rapidly scaling environments.
  • Proven time-management abilities, multitasking with effective priority definition, and demonstrated flexibility.
