Associate Pricing Analyst:

Day to Day Role:

  • Assist in conducting analytical scenario modeling proficiently and effectively to execute deal pricing utilizing analytical tools, applying inputs and integrating multiple sources of information
  • Learn to approve or make recommendations on customer-specific pricing and promotional programs and offers
  • Assist with renewals and regular reviews of customer deals to ensure compliance with contract terms and pricing strategy
  • Collect and monitor customer attrition, and win/loss rate input data to inform price setting
  • Support contract negotiations and fidelity with support from Sales team to identify areas of leakages and take action to fix them
  • Help run capacity check for some complex deals
  • Execute index price adjustments within contract terms
  • Responsible for participating and learning to lead meetings regarding analysis with cross functional team members
  • Analyze the impacts of company's products and distribution channels, competitors, production processes, procedures, and production location

Core Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in finance, accounting, business administration, economics, or related field of study
  • Basic knowledge of and experience working with financial concepts such as ROI, net present value, and other related analysis methods
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills and/or ability to implement solutions
  • Ability to streamline processes, integrate, and associate pieces of information gathered from multiple sources and apply to projects with cross functional team members
  • Ability to utilize business sense and creativity to develop new ideas and solutions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to operate with sense of urgency and focus on providing exceptionally reliable customer service
  • Ability to maintain composure and adapt in a dynamic, fast-paced, customer-focused work environment, characterized by rapid change, minimal lead times, and multiple competing priorities
  • Ability to demonstrate personal accountability, take ownership of work, and apply learned concepts
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and consistency
  • Ability to identify issues, compare data, investigate and resolve discrepancies
  • Microsoft Excel skills to include the ability to utilize formulas and functions

Preffered:

  • SAP, ERP or OTC experience

  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills to include the ability to utilize formulas and functions (e.g., VLOOKUP, index match, pivot tables, macros, conditional formatting and charting)
  • Ability to break down complex problems into pieces that can be solved with data, analysis and assumptions

Preferred:

  • SAP, ERP or OTC experience
