Responsibilities
Peraton is seeking an Organizational Change Management Lead to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Herndon, VA with some remote work possible. The qualified applicant will become part of Peraton's Department of State (DOS) Consular Systems Modernization (CSM) Program, for the Bureau of Consular Affairs (CA). This initiative will modernize and consolidate the operational environment under a common technology framework in order to better support the services provided to CA's customers. Roles and Responsibilities:
Lead enterprise-wide change management and communications for complex, high-impact programs, aligning strategy with organizational goals and stakeholder needs.
- Drive large-scale transformations across people, processes, and technology from design through successful adoption.
- Develop and implement tailored change management frameworks (e.g., ADKAR), guiding senior leadership with strategic insights, executive presentations, and actionable recommendations.
- Manage and mentor a team of change professionals, fostering innovation, collaboration, and capability growth.
- Design and execute comprehensive, data-driven strategies to measure impact and optimize outcomes.
- Champion the strategic vision and governance of communications, ensuring audience-centric delivery and continuous improvement.
- Lead the planning and execution of multimedia communication campaigns, collaborating with specialists and stakeholders.
- Oversee IT communications for all project tracks-crafting executive messaging, FAQs, Quick Reference Cards (QRCs), and collateral to support adoption and enhance user experience.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with at least 12 years of experience, or Master's degree with 10 yrs of experience.
- 10 yrs of recent experience leading change management initiatives for projects and products, leveraging strategic communication strategies aligned to business objectives.
- Demonstrated leadership in large-scale organizational change initiatives, with deep knowledge of change management principles, methodologies, and best practices.
- Proven ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all organizational levels. Skilled in prioritizing, delegating, and cultivating high-performance teams in customer service and collaborative environments.
- Track record of building trust-based relationships and effectively influencing senior executives, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities to navigate ambiguity and drive actionable outcomes.
- Strong background in writing communications within Technology, Organizational Change Management (OCM), or User Experience teams. Familiarity with project management tools, methodologies, and full lifecycle phases.
- Exceptional written, verbal, editorial, and presentation skills with a sharp eye for detail. Ability to think creatively, manage multiple projects, and troubleshoot complex issues.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to foster strong internal and external relationships.
- Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, Microsoft Forms, SharePoint, WordPress, and other tools used to create and deliver change management deliverables.
- Must be able to obtain or have an Active Secret (or higher) clearance. Interim clearances acceptable.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prosci Change Management Certification.

Target Salary Range
$86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
