Job Title: Grant Writer Associate FLSA Status: Full Time - non-exempt Schedule: Monday-Friday Rate of Pay: $30.28/hr Closing Date: 05/05/2025 Benefits: Standard; Full-Time, Non-Exempt employees are eligible for but not limited to the following:
Function: Under the direction of the Director of Grant Writing the Grant Writer Associate will provide general office and administrative support to the Director of Community Engagement for the Intermountain Division. This position plays a critical role to the fundraising efforts of the Intermountain Division through foundation, corporate and government communication, and interface. This position will be responsible for conducting research on available funding through foundations, corporations, city, state, and federal government grants along with assisting with and/or writing and editing grant proposals and reports. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: Professional and positive. Excellent people skills. Able to multi-task and set reasonable priorities. Good written and oral communication skills. Good organizational skills. Ability to follow instructions and offer constructive suggestions for improvement. Good judgment and common sense. Must demonstrate high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Must be able to handle confidential material and maintain department confidentiality. Understands and embraces the mission of The Salvation Army. Minimally 21 years of age and possessing a valid in-state Driver's License Software-related skills: General office experience with a working knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Working knowledge of integrated database applications and ability to use new software with basic training, including Portfolio, donor search & others. Duties and Responsibilities:
