Job Description

The School of Medicine - Department of Hematology and Medical Oncology is seeking a highly motivated, engaged, and committed Office Support Assistant IV who is interested in joining a fast-paced, highly productive team.
Our Hematology and Medical Oncology service teams include: Attending Physicians, Fellows, Advance Practice Providers, and Research Faculty. The ideal candidate will play an instrumental role in the success of sustaining our department's mission: advance the clinical, research and teaching components of the Hematology and Medical Oncology department at the University of Missouri.

Position overview:

*Provides general/routine administrative and office support that includes a broad range of duties.
* Organizes and completes structured assignments according to divisional priorities.
* Recognizes and solves problems as needed to support division
* Evaluates and selects solutions from established options/procedures.
* Impacts own team through the quality of the services or information provided.
* Communicates through the regular exchange of information with administrative and clinical staff.
* Provides general/routine administrative and office support that includes a broad range of duties.
* Greets visitors, answers incoming calls, routes calls, takes messages, and responds to general inquiries.
* Provides administrative Physician support including but not limited to physician's calendars, scheduling meetings, Continuing Medical Education arrangements, etc.
* Order supplies and process reimbursement items for faculty and staff.
* Assist faculty and staff with travel arrangements and other divisional needs.
* Assist in recruitment activities such as booking hotels, coordinating travel and creating itineraries.

Shift

Shift Type: Monday through Friday 8am - 5pm
(Clinical) Office/Administrative Hours: Yes - Position will have Office/Admin Hours
Flexibility for Alternative Schedules: No

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent and at least 5 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.

Anticipated Hiring Range

Hiring Range: $14.51 - $19.92
Grade: GGS-006
