Your opportunity

New Relic is at a pivotal point in its transition to becoming the clear category leader in Observability. Maintaining a solid financial forecast and a disciplined approach to budget management is important as we strive toward our billion+ dollar revenue goal. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys financial planning & analysis and is motivated by working with a variety of business partners to achieve their financial goals.

What you'll do

This person will become a trusted member of the Corporate FP&A team as a key reporting team member responsible for weekly and monthly forecasting, as well as participating in quarterly board reporting and ad hoc tasks from leadership. This role is responsible for actively supporting the FP&A business partners and key stakeholders. This is a great opportunity for growth in financial modeling as well as business acumen.

This role requires



  • 2 years of experience in financial analytics, public accounting or equivalent industry experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or Accounting
  • Demonstrated skills in financial analysis, data flow analysis
  • Proficient/Excellent excel modeling skills and working knowledge of Google sheets, docs and slides
  • Self-starter with a "can do" attitude who is comfortable asking questions and enjoys problem-solving
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and deliver results in an unstructured environment
  • Attention to detail and the highest standards for accuracy and precision, with strong organizational skills
  • Understanding of GAAP
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with Anaplan or Adaptive financial planning system
  • Familiarity with Netsuite accounting system

The pay range below represents a reasonable estimate of the salary for the listed position. This role is eligible for a corporate bonus plan. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related factors such as an applicant's skills, qualifications, and experience.
