National Grid is hiring a Lead Delivery Analyst, AMI NY
This is a Hybrid Role - Must live within a commutable distance to our locations

Job Purpose

National Grid is deploying 2.4 million smart meters across Upstate NY as part of our Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) program-modernizing energy management and supporting a clean energy future.

As a Lead Delivery Analyst, you'll play a key role in coordinating AMI deployment efforts, leveraging data to drive decision-making, optimize processes, and enhance stakeholder engagement.

Key Accountabilities
  • Data-Driven Decision-Making: Use data and analytics to drive strategic decisions, align AMI delivery priorities, and improve program performance.
  • Performance Reporting: Develop and maintain dashboards, KPIs, and reports to provide actionable insights for leadership and stakeholders.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and manage cross-functional relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment, accountability, and effective communication.
  • Meeting Facilitation: Lead daily stand-ups and cross-functional meetings to track progress, identify issues, and drive timely resolution.
  • Issue Resolution: Investigate and resolve data quality and reporting discrepancies, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and support process enhancements to increase efficiency across deployment, analytics, and stakeholder engagement functions.
  • Regulatory & Strategic Support: Assist in regulatory filings, jurisdictional updates, and strategic planning to ensure alignment with program goals.
  • Cross-Jurisdictional Expansion: Support the expansion and standardization of AMI capabilities and reporting practices across all National Grid jurisdictions.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required; 7+ years of experience in data analytics, operations, or program management (utility/infrastructure experience a plus).
  • Strong data analysis skills to inform strategy and influence decision-making.
  • Experience with KPIs, dashboards, and reporting tools (Power BI, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with enterprise systems (SAP, CSS, Salesforce) preferred.
  • Ability to work in dynamic environments with shifting priorities.

Salary
$118,000 - $139,000 a year
Salary commensurate with location and experience

This position has a career path which provides for advancement opportunities within and across bands as you develop and evolve in the position; gaining experience, expertise and acquiring and applying technical skills. Candidates will be assessed and provided offers against the minimum qualifications of this role and their individual experience.
