Your Role

We are looking for an experienced Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to support our manufacturing team. This role will drive HR initiatives, support workforce engagement, and ensure compliance with policies and regulations. The HRBP will work closely with leaders and employees at all levels, with a strong presence on the plant floor. This position also deputizes for the HR Manager in their absence and oversees two direct reports.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with leadership to support workforce planning, employee relations, and engagement strategies.
  • Ensure fair and consistent application of policies and provide guidance on performance management.
  • Oversee and support HR administrative functions, including managing two direct reports.
  • Collaborate with the Training and Development Specialist to support workforce skill-building initiatives.
  • Handle employee relations, investigations, and conflict resolution.
  • Manage Workers' Compensation cases, return-to-work programs, and related compliance.
  • Oversee benefits administration, including health, retirement, and wellness programs.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and lead Affirmative Action Plan (AAP) initiatives.
  • Analyze HR metrics and recommend improvements to enhance retention andproductivity.


To succeed, you will need

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or a related field; HR certification preferred. (Significant relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.)
  • 5+ years of HR experience, with at least 2 years in a business partner or leadership role.
  • Experience in manufacturing or working with a large hourly workforce.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws, labor relations, and HR best practices.
  • Experience managing Workers' Compensation and AAP compliance.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and coaching skills.
