Job Summary The Fulfillment Associate fulfills customer orders in an accurate and timely fashion. The Associate receives incoming products, maintains the on-hand inventory, prepares shipments, contacts freight carriers for pickup, and ships all orders on time. The Associate communicates with customers in a professional manner and provides documentation for the receipt and shipments of all orders. Example Duties and Activities
Operates lift truck or uses hand truck to move crates, skids, or cartons of all product during all movement transactions. Unpacks and examines incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages, and corresponds with shippers/customers to rectify damages and shortages. Prepares all receiving documents and interfaces with company software to properly document incoming items. Maintains inventory accuracy by performing daily stocking and put-away transactions. Performs transactions via scanning and/or input to the inventory system. Maintains the inventory of shipping materials and supplies. Prepares outgoing shipments to specifications and customer requirements. Works with freight companies such as UPS, FedEx, Door to Door deliveries, etc. to ship products.

Knowledge of Warehouse Processes - Possesses familiarity with receiving, putaway, storage, picking, packing, and shipping to ensure continuous efficient warehousing operations. Communication Skills- Gives full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to recognize the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times. Reads, comprehends, and writes simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in work-related documents. Customer Focus - Has the ability to see, comprehend and relate with customers in an impartial, unbiased yet effective and balanced manner; builds and maintains customer satisfaction with the products and services offered by the organization; provides excellent service to internal and external customers. Mathematical Aptitude - Is able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide into all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Computes rate, ratio, and percent and draws and interprets bar graphs; skids counts, carton counts, and computing total quantities. Reasoning Ability - Ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Technical Knowledge - Has working knowledge of G Suite and MS Office and a willingness to learn order processing software, i.e. Microsoft AX and RF Smart.
