What you'll be doing...

Architect, design and implement the Cloud FinOps initiatives and implement the processes and capabilities that ensure cost optimization; Collaborate with application teams to incorporate cost management best practices into cloud platforms via tagging, alerting and configurations that support financial monitoring of cloud platforms; Architect, design and implement the Big Data applications on GCP Cloud; Support the data migration activities from on-premise Big Data Hadoop systems to GCP Cloud; Analyze the data and workloads of applications and design the cloud appropriate GCP services with optimal usage of cloud resources; Collaborate with Data Engineers, Data Analysts and Data Scientists to understand the application requirements and design/implement the cloud platform according to the application needs with optimal cloud resources that operate within the performance and cost requirements; Design, develop and manage the BI Security Model that enables the data to different user groups based on the location and access levels.

What we're looking for...

Bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field and 6 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or as a software engineer, applications developer, data engineer or analyst/consultant, or in a related/similar position. Experience therein to include 6 years in Cloud computing, and GCP cloud platform administration including DataProc, BigQuery, Dataflow, FinOps, Cloud operations suite and Composer services; 5 years in design/development of batch processing and streaming applications; 3 years in data engineering with Big Data skills in Hadoop, Spark, Spark Streaming, Hive, and Kafka; 2 years in Hadoop administration, DevOps implementation (using CICD, Jenkins, Artifact, Git, Python, and Shell Scripting), reporting (using OBIEE, Tableau, Looker and Cognos), and ETL (using Informatica, Oracle, DataStage, Talend, SQL Server, and Unix). Hybrid role, ability to work from home.
