About the Role

The Production Inkjet Roll-Fed Product Strategy and Marketing Senior Specialist plays a key role in leading the development and execution of the production roll-fed inkjet product strategy and marketing initiatives to support Canon U.S.A.'s production print solutions. This position requires deep expertise in the print industry, particularly in commercial print, transaction printing, and direct mail, with a strong ability to design and implement end-to-end solutions that address customer needs. Experience in the packaging and label markets is an added advantage.

The Senior Specialist is responsible for executing the PPS and marketing strategies for roll-fed inkjet products, driving marketing programs across the Americas, and supporting field escalation activities. This role works collaboratively with product marketing specialists and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective program delivery. The Senior Specialist will also play a pivotal role in market analysis, customer engagement, and positioning Canon's roll-fed inkjet products as the preferred choice in competitive markets, driving growth and product adoption.

This role requires you to live within a reasonable commuting distance to Boca Raton, FLso that you can adequately execute your job responsibilities.


Your Impact

- Lead the development and execution of the product strategy for roll-fed inkjet print solutions.
- Responsible for the development and execution of the product marketing plan ensuring alignment to the overall corporate strategies and objectives requiring the ability to foster strong relationships with the factory headquarters, finishing, media, and software product marketing specialists.
- Responsible for product launch and life cycle management, developing and maintaining pricing and promotion programs, population management and product revenue and profitability.
- Responsible for developing marketing collaterals/samples/launch kits, sales tools, sales support, and defining requirements for sales training for all models of the Canon ColorStream and ProStream inkjet presses.
- Responsible for developing new application and market opportunities, including but not limited to the Transaction, Direct Mail (TDM), Commercial Print, Corporate In-Plant and Packaging/Label markets in support of opening new markets, driving new volume growth and revenue opportunities.
- Manages and reports on new product solution, product introductions and the product lifecycle for existing ColorStream and ProStream products through the Product Management Team (PMT) process by applying marketing principles including target market and application definition, product structure and pricing.
- Ensures delivery and execution of the marketing programs and sales tools, product structure, pricing and service structure to our systems and communicates the results to our sales force.
- Requires the ability to provide product demonstrations and professional presentations to customers and executive management for all ColorStream and ProStream models and end-to-end solutions.
- Provides consultation across a wide customer base on how world-class end-to-end solutions are enabled to drive business success for customers.
- Ensures fast and accurate communication with field sales to support sales activities. This will also include field escalations that support service activities.
- Researches and develops sales tools for sell against competitive products including SWOT, objection handling, etc.

OTHER EXPECTATIONS/QUALIFICATIONS:
-Requires a degree in Business, Marketing, Digital Printing, a related technical major, or a related field.
- Requires experience in inkjet, direct mail, commercial print, book printing/publishing and/or packaging/label market
- Experience in sales, marketing, research and development, or solution management specifically focused on production inkjet solutions in the printing industry.
- Ability to turn analysis into action, execute to timelines, and provide comprehensive solutions.
- Demonstrated project management skills.
- Team player with demonstrated ability to work effectively on cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work in a fast paced, multi-tasking environment.
- Technical aptitude required

- May require up to 10-15% travel (valid driver's license and acceptable driving record necessary) including overnight stays.
- Must have solid Microsoft Office Suite skills, especially PPT
- Familiarity with Microsoft Power BI desirable


About You: The Skills & Expertise You Bring

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience required, plus 5 years of related exp
- Degree in Design, Communications, Marketing or related field (or comparable business discipline).
- Experience as Email or Web Designer as well as managing email marketing campaigns.
- Experience with landing page forms and conversion optimization.
- Familiarity with marketing automation systems such as Eloqua / Marketo (preferred).
- Experience with Sharepoint.
- Ability to turn analysis into action, execute to timelines, and provide comprehensive solutions.
- Demonstrated project management skills.
- Technically proficient with HTML and CSS and graphic software packages.
- Team player with demonstrated ability to work effectively on cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work in a fast paced, multi-tasking environment.

We are providing the anticipated salary range for this role: $92, 210 - $138, 080 annually
