This is a highly skilled and experienced Medical Imaging Repair Technician 3 role. This advanced-level position requires significant expertise in medical imaging systems, with experience in technical support or as a modality specialist, or a minimum of three years of experience as a Probo Medical Imaging Repair Technician 2. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of multiple imaging modalities and be capable of providing high-level technical support, troubleshooting, and repair across a wide range of complex systems. As a Medical Imaging Repair Technician 3, you will lead the resolution of challenging technical issues, provide expert guidance to your team, and ensure the highest quality of service delivery.? Requirements ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESProvide advanced troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance services for complex medical imaging systems, ensuring the highest level of system functionality.Serve as a subject matter expert in multiple imaging modalities, including troubleshooting, calibration, installation, and maintenance.Provide technical support to both internal team members and external clients, offering guidance on resolving challenging issues and system optimizations. Mentor and coach junior technicians, including Medical Imaging Repair Technicians 1 and 2, assisting with troubleshooting and repairs while fostering their professional growth.Collaborate with senior management to improve operational procedures, service standards, and performance efficiency across the team.Ensure the timely resolution of service requests, addressing critical system failures and minimizing downtime for healthcare facilities.Maintain accurate documentation of all repairs, technical support provided, and updates to customer equipment.? Work closely with OEMs and other manufacturers to stay current on new technologies, troubleshooting techniques, and compliance requirements for imaging equipment.Lead or assist in the setup, calibration, and installation of new imaging systems, ensuring they meet all manufacturer specifications and regulatory standards.Conduct in-depth training sessions for internal teams on system maintenance, troubleshooting techniques, and safety procedures.Support the development and enhancement of best practices for service delivery and operational efficiency.Observes and promotes Probo's standards and policies on safety, quality and productivity.Primary job responsibilities are those which an employee must be able to perform with or without accommodation. Probo Medical reserves the right to revise the job description as well as require that other duties be performed as needed.REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE (one or more of the following): High-level experience in medical imaging repair, including technical support or modality specialist experience.A minimum of three years' experience as a Probo Medical Imaging Repair Technician 2, or equivalent experience in medical imaging repair.If promoted from MIRT 2, the applicant must have been internally certified as competent on a majority of systems within an OEM modality service base and be considered competent to provide technical support.Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.Deep understanding of medical imaging systems, modalities, and repair techniques.Ability to troubleshoot and repair complex issues with advanced electronic and imaging systems.Strong leadership and mentoring abilities to guide a team of technicians.Advanced diagnostic skills and the ability to read, interpret, and apply complex technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.Exceptional problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to resolve high-level technical issues under time constraints.Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Knowledge of relevant compliance regulations, safety protocols, and industry standards related to medical imaging equipment.TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS Occasional travel to customer sites may be required for on-location repairs and installations and advanced troubleshooting.??WORK ENVIRONMENT The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an individual encounters while performing the essential functions of this position.
