PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:

As part of the Communications & Media Relations team, your responsibilities will include helping to promote corporate communications and CPKC's brand strategy.

POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Assist in the creation and distribution of press releases, newsletters, and other communication materials
• Support social media efforts by crafting engaging content and monitoring analytics to determine efficiency
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure flawless execution of communication strategies
• Aid in the planning and execution of corporate events and media relations activities
• Conduct research and provide insights on industry trends to improve our communication efforts

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• Strong problem-solving skills and decision-making skills
• Must be proficient with MS Office
• Excellent verbal and communication skills
• Strong leadership and technical skills
• Effectively, work under pressure and manage tight deadlines
