Job Summary

This position is a senior individual contributor in the Category Management and Revenue Growth Management Team responsible for data analysis and reporting, database management and data visualization in order to drive understanding of key retailed product assortment and grow our portfolio.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

Analytics & Reporting



  • Create category strategy and vision of Category Insights & Analytics department
  • Provide monthly account-level data reporting with analysis of product and brand performance drivers using using Power BI, Nielsen/IRI data, and other various pricing and promotion tools.
  • Analyze POS (point of sale) data to answer ad hoc questions from Marketing and Sales utilizing a strong proficiency of data mining skills
  • Utilize consumer panel data to identify consumer demographic and purchasing trends
  • Collects and harmonizes pricing data to model and make strategic pricing decisions
  • Makes strategic recommendations to team lead to implement long term Revenue Growth Management Principles
  • Creates, manages and attends Retailer meetings and content to maximize sales through analyses of:

    • New distribution and white space opportunities
    • Risk to existing item distribution
    • Merchandising opportunities




  • Maintain a toolkit of category and consumer insights for Sales to leverage in customer presentations
  • Coach and Mentor more junior level employees to help develop and build out Market Insights, Category Management and Revenue Growth Management functions.

Education and Experience Profile

  • BS/BA in Business, Marketing, Statistics or 5 years of equivalent education required
  • 5+ years' experience in data analysis, data visualization and database management using XXX tools
  • 2-4 years of experience in supporting a consumer-packaged goods marketing and/or sales organization

Required Skills

  • High proficiency of Excel, PowerPoint, Word & Outlook
  • Strong technical proficiency in data modeling and data science
  • Strong knowledge of Power BI and/or Tableau
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Motivated and driven to excel in both independent and team environments
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to handle a variety of tasks and situations in a calm and effective manner
  • Attention to detail and technical learning capacity
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong Analytical Skills - Demonstrate data-mining skills and judgment with data quality in order to provide actionable insights

Work Environment

Working conditions are normal for an office environment. Ability to work from home 2-3 days a week.
