Chicago, IllinoisAdd to Favorite Jobs Email this Job The Department of Radiology Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine seeks a full-time non-tenure-eligible Clinician-Educator at the rank of Instructor or Assistant Professor. The successful applicant will join a growing clinical service of faculty members who work across all aspects of cardiothoracic radiology including chest radiography, chest and cardiac CT (including coronary CTA), and thoracic and cardiovascular MR (including stress perfusion CMR). We support a large lung cancer screening program with patients from across the Northwestern Medicine system, and our hospital has a large lung transplant population. The section is also a recognized international leader in the delivery of high-volume, cutting-edge cardiovascular MR services which we perform throughout our hospital system. Our faculty are regarded as highly collaborative across our campus and hospital system. We participate in numerous interdisciplinary conferences with our colleagues from cardiology, cardiac and thoracic surgery, pulmonology, and oncology. We have a cardiovascular imaging fellowship, a growing cardiothoracic imaging fellowship, and large complement of excellent residents who we are fortunate to help train. Qualified candidates will will have an M.D. degree, training in cardiovascular and thoracic imaging, and strong motivation to develop or further their academic career. A high degree of emotional intelligence, interest in interdisciplinary collaboration, and a track record of teamwork is also valued. The start date is negotiable and the position will remain open until filled. The expected base pay range for this position is $390,000 - $450,000. Northwestern University has provided a pay range representing its good faith estimate of what the university reasonably expects to pay for the position. The pay offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on factors including (but not limited to) the experience and qualifications of the selected candidate including years since terminal degree, training, and field or discipline; departmental budget availability; internal comparators; and external market pay for comparable jobs.
