Description & Requirements Job Description
Responsible for providing support to our FP&A, Corp FP&A, Cost Accounting, Treasury, and other finance-related departments; optimize the usage of the Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules within the SAP system, ensuring efficient and accurate financial processes; lead and participate in SAP implementation and upgrade projects, working closely with cross-functional teams to align the system with business requirements and best practices; coordinate the configuration of SAP; collaborate with finance stakeholders to streamline financial processes, identify automation opportunities, and establish controls to ensure data integrity; coordinate and facilitate discussions with the Application Management Outsourcing (AMO) vendor for system changes and configuration updates; provide guidance and support to the AMO vendor during the configuration process, ensuring accurate translation of business requirements into SAP system configurations and adhering to business requirements; identify the needs for configuring and customizing the FI/CO modules including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Internal Orders, and Product Costing; ensure SAP FI and CO modules are configured to meet the specific needs of the finance departments and align with accounting and reporting standards globally; utilize and apply knowledge of S/4 HANA, Legacy System Migration Workbench (LSMW), Solution Manager, SQL Queries, Report Painter, Report-Writer, EPM Excel Add-Ins, SAP Finance and Controlling (FI and CO) modules, master data, configuring integration, job execution, Sales Distribution and Materials Management (MM and SD), ECC6, Gap Analysis, SAP, and FI/CO modules including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Cost Center Accounting (CCA), Profit Center Accounting (PCA), Internal Orders, and Product Cost Controlling to perform duties; collaborate with finance stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into effective SAP solutions; streamline financial processes by identifying areas for automation, standardization, and process improvement within the SAP system; ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial data within the SAP system by establishing and maintaining appropriate controls; conduct regular system audits and perform data reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies; develop and maintain financial reports, dashboards, and analytics using SAP reporting tools, including SAP S/4HANA embedded analytics and group reporting; design and implement customized BI financial reports and key performance indicators (KPIs) to meet the specific requirements of various finance departments; provide support to financial data analysis and interpretation to assist decision-making processes and provide insights to management; provide user assistance and support with SAP FI and CO modules; troubleshoot issues and address inquiries related to SAP FI and CO functionality; and create and maintain user documentation, training materials, and knowledge base resources. Education: Bachelors - Management Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, or in a related field of study (will accept equivalent foreign degree); Training: None; Experience: Five (5) years in the position above, as a Senior FICO Analyst, as a Senior FICO Consultant, as a Package Solution Consultant, as a Senior SAP FICO Consultant, as a Manager, as an Associate Consultant, as a Senior Assistant, or in a related occupation; Will accept seven (7) years experience in the position above, as a Senior FICO Analyst, as a Senior FICO Consultant, as a Package Solution Consultant, as a Senior SAP FICO Consultant, as a Manager, as an Associate Consultant, as a Senior Assistant, or in a related occupation, in lieu of the primary education and work experience requirements. Other Requirements: Experience must include all the following: * Three (3) years use of S/4 HANA, Legacy System Migration Workbench (LSMW), Solution Manager, SQL Queries, Report Painter, Report-Writer, and EPM Excel Add-Ins. * Five (5) years use of SAP Finance and Controlling (FI and CO) modules, master data, configuring integration, job execution, Sales Distribution and Materials Management (MM and SD), ECC6, Gap Analysis, SAP, and FI/CO modules including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Cost Center Accounting (CCA), Profit Center Accounting (PCA), Internal Orders, and Product Cost Controlling.
