Description & Requirements Job Description
Responsible for supporting the efficient design and development of upcoming AESC battery plant production and facilities; maintain effective communication between AESC members and selected contractors to ensure the timely completion of associated design and development tasks; foster collaboration across the organization, promoting continuous improvement initiatives for sustained long-term success; provide support to Greenfield and Brownfield's new plant construction covering the entire process from RPQ/RFP/RFI to Production; collaborate cross-functionally with both internal and external stakeholders to identify opportunities for continuous improvement in safety, quality, delivery, and cost-effectiveness; participate in and contribute to equipment design reviews by providing insights on manufacturing best practices, equipment design, compliance with US regulations, and related considerations; create comprehensive documentation to convey essential information to contractors, including details on company standards, expectations, functional requirements, and other pertinent guidelines; utilize and apply knowledge of AutoCAD 2D, Inventor, CATIA, SolidWorks, Root Cause Analysis, Six Sigma Principles, Primavera P6, Bluebeam, lithium-ion batteries, equipment design/installation/commissioning, facilities design procedures, RFP processes, Microsoft Office Suite of Tools, PFLOW, PFMEA, Value Stream Mapping, PowerBI, JIRA, and new equipment model design procedures to perform assigned duties; validate required equipment capacities and quantities, as well as generate schedules for installation, commissioning, and ramp-up phases; create and maintain new plant layouts and simulations using AutoCAD 2D and PlantSim; oversee the integration of process and logistics equipment into the plant layout, with a keen focus on optimizing people and material flows; plan and map the overall headcounts of plant operators; maintain the KPIs; support the procurement of essential permits to facilitate timely building construction; collaborate directly with contractors to advance building and site design progress; plan and provide procurement support for plant utilities, including water, electricity, and natural gas; and apply data-driven problem-solving methodologies and effectively present work to all levels of management. Location: Smyrna, Tennessee, and multiple undetermined worksites throughout the US; Salary: $105,000 per year #LI-EH1 Qualifications
Education: Bachelors - Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or in a related field of study (will accept equivalent foreign degree); Training: None; Experience: Four (4) years in the position above, as a Manufacturing Engineer, as an Energy Analyst, as an Analyst II, as an Energy Engineer, or in a related occupation; Other Requirements: Experience must include all the following: * Three (3) years use of Primavera P6, Bluebeam, lithium-ion batteries, PFLOW, PFMEA, Value Stream Mapping, PowerBI and JIRA. * Four (4) years use of AutoCAD 2D, Inventor, CATIA, SolidWorks, Root Cause Analysis, Six Sigma Principles, equipment design/installation/commissioning, facilities design procedures, RFP processes, and new equipment model design procedures. Will also accept any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience. |
