Technical Services Driver - Hourly

Primary Purpose

Drive and operate semi-vans, roll-off trailers, and dump trailers as required.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Ensures Health & Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times.
• Loads supplies needed for job completion and travels to various industry, laboratory, and school sites to perform lab pack services.
• Prepares for daily trip by inspecting vehicle and equipment, fueling truck, and ensuring all equipment is in excellent order.
• Drives to customer sites to collect waste material and/or transport hazardous and non-hazardous material.
• Completes necessary paperwork for shipment of hazardous and non-hazardous materials.
• Follows proper placarding and load segregation requirements when transporting hazardous materials.
• Maintains a logbook for D.O.T. compliance.
• Assists customers on troubleshooting and correcting record keeping inconsistencies and service concerns.
• Acts as Company Representative with contacts.

Education: High School Diploma or it's equivalent

Experience: 1 Year of CDL Driving Experience required.

Requirements: Minimum Class B CDL License w/ Hazmat Endorsement required. Class A CDL w/ Hazmat Endorsement Preferred.

Knowledge and Abilities: Ability to understand RCRA, DOT and OSHA regulations. Excellent interpersonal skills necessary to effectively communicate with internal and external contacts. Must meet Heritage Driver Qualifications.

A post offer drug screen will be required.
