Senior Associate, Asset Management (NYL Investors), Financial Planning & Analysis (PF3)

About the Team:
The NYL Investors Planning & Analysis team is responsible for the financial management of NYL Investors and its business units-Fixed Income Investors (FII), Real Estate Investors (REI), and Private Capital Investors (PCI)-which collectively manage over $320 billion in assets for the NYL General Account and third-party clients.

What You'll Do:
* Prepare and analyze financial results for NYL Investors and its business units, including OCIO, that will assist in delivering high-quality, insightful analysis for business leaders, Finance, and senior management.
* Assist in developing multi-year financial plans and quarterly forecasts for business areas in alignment with NYL corporate requirements.
* Perform General Account monthly asset-based fee calculations by asset class and Line of Business (LOB).
* Support NYL Investors Finance Data Strategy Transformation using a series of BI integration applications
* Collaborate with business units to compile and report monthly Sales and Assets Under Management (AUM) data.
* Develop and maintain profitability reporting and analysis, including oversight and periodic updates to business unit work effort statistics.
* Drive expense and headcount reporting and analysis for NYL Investors' & OCIO Direct and allocated expenses, ensuring timely data delivery to stakeholders.
* Respond to business unit and corporate ad hoc requests, such as in-depth financial analysis, industry surveys, RFPs, marketing support, board reporting, annual 15C reporting, and FATCA compliance.

What You'll Bring:
* Strong sense of ownership with the ability to independently manage projects.
* Excellent multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
* Comprehensive understanding of asset management products and familiarity with New York Life Insurance Company's structure.
* Experience in BI Tools and Platforms including Anaplan, Tableau, SAP S4 Hana, AFO
* Effective business partnering and relationship-building skills, fostering collaboration across diverse teams.
* Strong organizational and project management capabilities.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present concepts to senior leadership.

Pay Transparency

Salary Range:$77,500-$125,000

Overtime eligible:Exempt

Discretionary bonus eligible:Yes

Sales bonus eligible:No

Actual base salary will be determined based on several factors but not limited to individual's experience, skills, qualifications, and job location. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition to base salary, employees may also be eligible to participate in an incentive program.
