Accounts Receivable Specialist

Process customer payments and post to their accounts accurately and promptly, addressing any issues through cash application and working with customers to mediate resolutions.
• Prepare a daily bank deposit slip and communicate the bank transfer amount to the Finance Department.
• Proactively contact customers regarding account issues and follow through with timely corrective measures to resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare detailed account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and alignment of records.
• Conduct collection calls to follow up on delinquent invoices, employing a customer-focused approach to secure payments.
• Process necessary AR adjustments and other related transactions.
• Evaluate and release orders on hold, in line with departmental criteria and established protocols.
• Review credit applications and pull credit reports for potential new customers to support informed decision-making.
• Partner effectively with cross-departmental teams to achieve shared goals and streamline processes.
• Other duties and training as assigned by Manager.

• Minimum of one years of experience applying cash regularly.
• Minimum of two years of Accounts Receivable or related experience preferred.
• General computer skills, with the ability to learn First Supply LLC's business systems.
• Proficiency in 10-key data entry.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to communicate clearly with internal and external customers.
• Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in data entry.
