Manufacturing Quality Control Manager

The Opportunity

Join Hitachi Energy as a Distribution Center Manager, where you'll oversee the planning, organizing, and operations of our distribution center and warehouses in Pennsylvania. This role includes managing all distribution functions such as order processing, picking, packaging, shipping, cycle counting, and receiving. You'll partner with operating units to ensure timely delivery of materials, use modern processes to manage inventory, and optimize operations through data and analytics. How You'll Make an Impact

• Define activities, processes, and standards to meet quality requirements for manufactured products.
• Build and maintain systems to ensure timely delivery of quality products.
• Determine the quality of manufacturing processes and outputs against standards.
• Address process deviations and defects in finished goods.
• Oversee professional and para-professional employees.
• Establish objectives for team members.
• Ensure understanding and adherence to policies and procedures.
• Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your Background

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance or a related industry.
• Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt and Green Belt certifications in Quality and Continuous Improvement.
• Strong knowledge of quality assurance methods and processes.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
