Position Purpose
Responsible for the overall coordination, status reporting, and management of related processes of audit-oriented work efforts. Responsible for leading limited to moderate work efforts simultaneously. Adheres to Audit management processes and methodologies to ensure audit work requests are delivered on time and within budgeted hours, adheres to high quality standards and meets ISSM expectations. Monitors assignments and work efforts on a daily basis and tracks key deliverables and assignments. Responsible for leading the projects from inception to remediation activities. Description

What You'll Do:

  • Prepares and monitors audit work requests from scope to reporting and associated remediation tasks. Ensures audit artifacts and documentation deliverables are complete, on budget, within scope, and in accordance with standards. Assimilates audit management methodology within day-to-day work activities.

  • Responsible for the execution and maintenance of audit work requests. Facilitates effective communications between all parties involved in the audit work efforts. This will include meetings, correspondence, status reports and other documentation. Provides timely updates to AMO management.

  • Helps to remove any ambiguity with observations or control deficiencies. Works with Auditors and System Security Officers to clarify requests to help reduce interruptions and repeated request to I/S staff.

  • Maintains spreadsheets and required documentation of all activity on assigned audits. Updates DCM and MPS to ensure updates are current for management review.

  • Schedules all onsite meetings, attends meetings, and ensures follow-up or requests for additional information is completed timely.

  • Assists with adhoc requests as needed (surveys, review operational reports). Work with Client and PMO as needed, builds and maintain relationships across I/S. Provides management with updates and reporting on audit activity and any deviations with audit methodology.

Work Environment:

  • Fast paced, multi-platformed environment which may require action and response 24X7 to support the technical business needs of the customer.

To Qualify for This Position, You'll Need:

Required Education:

  • Bachelor's in a job-related field

Degree Equivalency:

  • Associates degree plus an extra 2 years job-related experience for a total of 4 years of required work experience (see "required work experience")

OR

  • 6 total years required work experience.

Required Work Experience:

  • 2 years of experience supporting IT audit, compliance, quality assurance or related activities.

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to work effectively on several projects simultaneously.

  • Strong organizational skills with close attention to detail.

  • Able to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.

  • Ability to efficiently handle stressful situations and short notice assignments.

Required Software and Other Tools:

  • Microsoft Office including Sharepoint, Adobe Professional and Visio.

We Prefer That You Have:

  • IT Audit Experience.

  • IS Security Standards Experience.

  • Cybersecurity Experience.
