Overview

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is an employee-owned federal government contractor supporting national priority programs through our strategic solutions in the areas of Information Technology, Test & Evaluation, Program Mission Support, Engineering & Analysis, and Training.



Responsibilities

    Work with DoD Civilians, USN Fleet Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), Industry and other contractors in the planning and execution of training events using simulation technologies.
  • Acquiring a deep understanding of NAVAIR training devices and simulation technologies in determining optimum scenario laydowns.
  • Conduct background research and provide analytical support and recommendations for using simulation technologies to improve the operational effectiveness and suitability.
  • Performs analysis, diagnostics and preliminary evaluations of simulation products.
  • Use NGTS software and tools to build and modify simulations.
  • Ensure models accurately reflect system behavior and performance.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and 13+ years of related work experience
  • US Citizenship & a minimum of a current SECRET clearance
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Expert level experience in at least one of the following: Live, Virtual, Constructive (LVC) Simulations, Next Generation Threat System (NGTS)
  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively.


Pay Transparency Statement

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is USD $136,000.00/Yr. - USD $227,100.00/Yr. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
