BHMG Urgent Care Lexington & Richmond

Rad Tech or LMR Medical Assistant

Assists the staff and physicians by collecting pertinent patient information needed to determine physical and psychological needs, address and identify health problems.

  • Performs all radiographic exams as required.
  • Maintains appropriate and efficient patient flow through exam and treatment areas.
  • Accurately obtains and records vital signs, reporting abnormal readings as appropriate.
  • Performs clerical duties as assigned including assembling information for patient education, assisting patients with nutrition and toileting as needed, scheduling, and obtaining insurance authorizations for medications.

Minimum Education, Training and Experience Required:

Rad Tech license or LMR

BLS certification required

Medical assistant experience or training

Active AART and KBMIRT

New grads encouraged to apply
