About the Role:

As a Sr Finance Analyst, you will be responsible for all aspects of financial reporting and analysis within a value stream. Responsible include all aspects of finance for the value stream, including forecasting, long range planning, reporting, accounting, project analysis and any ad-hoc analysis. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute extensively within a growing company as well as serve on the leadership team of a value stream and an excellent opportunity to contribute input to Wabash's financial performance.

Your Responsibilities:



  • Develops business relationships with key leaders in sales, operations, engineering, HR, IT, and other departments to facilitate strategic growth
  • Leads financial processes including monthly close, budgeting, forecasting and internal control
  • Analyzes current and past trends for key performance indicators including all areas of revenue, cost of sales, expenses, and capital expenditures
  • Monitors KPIs highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variances
  • Provides quarterly and monthly financial reports and ad-hoc reporting and analysis
  • Implements and improves existing business intelligence tools and dashboard reports
  • Provides strong leadership regarding financial modeling, planning and analysis to support strategic initiatives
  • Analyzes complex financial information to provide accurate financial recommendations
  • Engages and partners with the business by delivering insightful analysis on key focus areas
  • Communicates key business issues and opportunities in a clear, concise and actionable manner
  • Builds and develops business presentations for senior management
  • Provides consistent, timely and relevant information to key company stakeholders including the CEO and CFO
  • Partners with segment and corporate management on expansion plans by providing financial leadership and insight
  • Other duties as assigned


Let's Talk About Your Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Engineering
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in positions that require analysis, financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and data interpretation of business impact and results
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Professional certification (CPA/CMA/Qualified Accounting certificate) is a plus
  • Proficiency in data mining and reporting tools (e.g., SQL, MS Access, Excel, Essbase, and/or Cognos) and other financial systems (e.g., Oracle, and SAP)
  • Familiar with concepts of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
