SUMMARY
The Treasury Support Specialist III will focus on the quality control of daily tasks processed by the Treasury Support Specialist I & II as well as departmental reporting. This position will also assist the Sr. Treasury Support Specialist in project management as well as assisting with escalated issues and research.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinates team training, work queue management, and identifying additional training needs.

  • Reports on department statistics.

  • Assists with day-to-day processing as needed.

  • Ensures departmental procedures are up to date and accurate, as well as reviewed annually.

  • Resolves escalated and complex non-routine issues with little or no supervision, while ensuring compliance with regulations and audit standards.

  • Communicates with bank personnel and/or customers as necessary to resolve issues.

  • Participates in partner calls to provide product solutions to meet our customer needs.

  • Participates in meetings and training seminars as required to stay current on laws and regulation changes.

  • Supports the development with implementation of new products, processes, and procedures.

  • Multi-tasks between multiple system while prioritizing incoming requests.

  • Assists with the implementation and conversion of new software, including testing of upgrades or releases.

  • Trains and reviews quality of staff work, recording and reporting training and quality issues.

  • Takes an active role in projects specific to Treasury Solutions as a SME (Subject Matter Expert)

  • Cooperates with, participate in, and supports the adherence to all internal policies, procedures, training, and practices in support of the Bank's compliance with all regulatory requirements, particularly those related to job-specific duties.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Proven experience delivering exemplary level of customer service in a professional environment.

  • Proven ability to assess customer needs.

  • Strong computer and technical skills required.

  • Must possess advanced Microsoft Office knowledge and experience.

  • Must possess exceptional customer service and communication skills.

  • Ability to interact as a member/leader of a team and to multitask in a fast-paced environment required.

  • Must be flexible; a self-starter, possess strong problem-solving abilities; strong financial acumen and sound judgement.

  • Must have proven team-oriented skills that demonstrate a commitment to the success of First Interstate Bank strategic initiatives.

  • Be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the department.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

  • Associate's Degree in Business, Finance, Communications, or related field

  • 4-6 years related experience, training, and/or equivalent combination of education and experience required

  • Banking experience or experience with bank systems preferred
