Description Maine Behavioral Healthcare Professional - Clinical Req #: 20135 For a limited time MaineHealth is offering up to$10,000 Sign on bonus for all eligible Behavioral Health Clinicians! Current MaineHealth member employees are ineligible; former MaineHealth Members are ineligible until greater than 3 months separation from employment. Bonuses may be prorated based on schedule. ~ 40 Hours/week, Full-Time, Day shift ~ Maine state licensure to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required Key Responsibilities Lead therapeutic group sessions focused on substance use and drug addiction treatment, mental health, and recovery skills. Provide individual consultations and support for treatment goals. Maintain resource lists and collaborate with treatment teams for comprehensive care. Ensure accurate documentation and billing in the EMR system. Support quality assurance initiatives and compliance with hospital policies. In this role, you'll facilitate group and individual therapy, provide recovery resources, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality care. Summary The role of Behavioral Health Clinician II, working under an independent license, involves providing comprehensive care and support to clients with behavioral health needs. The key responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing direct care through individual, group, and family therapy sessions. Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) Education: Master's Degree in Social Work, Clinical Counseling, Addiction Treatment, or related field License/Certifications: Licensed LCPC, LCSW, or LMFT from the respective licensing board of the State of Maine Office of Professional and Occupational Regulation (OPOR) Experience: At least two years of behavioral health experience including employment as a conditionally licensed clinician.
