Description Under general supervision, the incumbent will serve as an assistant instructor assigned to the curriculum segments and activities in Year 1 of the four-year medical curriculum. This position will work directly with the Year One Doctoring Director in Carbondale to provide educational resources for faculty and students. Examples of Duties I. Teaching 95% A. Assist training students in basic clinical skills such as working with patients, writing and reviewing history and physicals, and oral case presentations II. Administration 5% A. Other duties as assigned Qualifications A. Bachelor's Degree B. Good organizational skills and good problem-solving ability C. Ability to work in close association with clinical faculty D. Excellent oral and written communication skills E. Experience in the clinical medicine setting F.
