Position Summary The Eleanor and Lou Gehrig ALS Center in the Department of Neurology at Columbia University Irving Medical Center is seeking a Senior Technician to join the clinical research team. Our research combines genomics, clinical research, basic science, and computational strategies to immediately make contributions to our understanding of ALS etiology and pathology. This position would be responsible for several routine and specialized ongoing research activities and will also play a vital role in managing, processing, and performing assays with high value research subject samples. Depending on interest there is also the potential to conduct independent research projects alongside the ongoing studies. This person will work directly with the Sr. Manager of Translational Research and Principal Investigators within the ALS Center. Responsibilities The Senior Technician will:
